New Showroom in Astana

What better news to launch our new blog that the expansion of Colección Alexandra all over the world.

On last Friday, the 10th of December 2010 Colección Alexandra’s President and Founder, María José Guinot, has inaugurated a new Showroom in Astana. It is the second one we open in Kazakhstan after Almaty showroom in 2005. The showroom of 70 m2 is located in the beautiful Khan Shatyr Entertainment Center, designed by Foster + Partners, and defined as the tallest tensile structure of the world. The building is not only characterized by its originality and size but also by a careful sustainable design.

The city of Astana is considered one of the most important projects of urban growth in the whole world given by the large investment that the government is making with the money from the oil. The aim of the project is to make the city the center of Kazakhstan and moreover to become the reference capital of Central Asia, and are on track to achieve it.
